Adult Education/GED® is MORE than high school equivalency! We provide services in family literacy, compensatory education, college preparation and English for Speakers of Other Languages.

Our Mission
The Mission of the Adult Education Program is to provide a variety of educational opportunities in reading, writing, and mathematics to program participants.
Student Learning Outcomes
It is the goal of the Adult Education Program that our students will achieve one or more of the following outcomes:
- Improve skills in reading, writing, and/or mathematics
- Earn a GED® certificate
- Prepare to enter higher education or training at Mayland or other educational institution
- Acquire a higher level of skills in speaking, reading, and writing the English language
- Attain a higher level of life skills, employment skills, or independent living skills.
