From Marion, NC
Take NC 226 and follow it to Spruce Pine, where it intersects with US 19-E. Turn right onto US 19-E and go approximately 3 miles north to the Avery/Mitchell County line. Mayland is on your left.
From Asheville, NC
Take either I-40 east to Marion, NC (and follow the directions above) or take I-26 west to the Burnsville/Spruce Pine exit (US 19/US 19-E). Follow US 19/19-E through Burnsville and Spruce Pine, continuing on 3 miles past Spruce Pine to the Avery/Mitchell County line. Mayland is on your left.
From Johnson City, TN
Take I-26 east past the North Carolina line to the Burnsville/Spruce Pine exit (US 19/US 19-E). Follow US 19/19-E through Burnsville and Spruce Pine, continuing on 3 miles past Spruce Pine to the Avery/Mitchell County line. Mayland is on your left.

From Marion, NC
Take US 221 north to Crossnore, then veer left on NC 194 through Newland (becomes Cranberry Street). The campus will be on your left at the Newland city limits just past downtown.
From Boone, NC
Take NC 105 south to Linville, then turn right on NC 181 to Newland. At the red light downtown, turn right onto NC 194 (Cranberry Street). The campus will be on your left at the Newland city limits just past downtown.
From Asheville, NC
Take I-26 west to the Burnsville/Spruce Pine exit (US 19/US 19-E). Follow US 19/19-E through Burnsville and Spruce Pine, passing the MCC Main Campus at the Avery/Mitchell County line. Turn right onto NC 194 and take it to its intersection with US 221. Turn left onto US 221 north to Crossnore, then veer left on NC 194 through Newland (becomes Cranberry Street). The campus will be on your left at the Newland city limits just past downtown..
From Johnson City, TN
Take US 321 to Elizabethton, then turn right onto US 19-E and follow it to Cranberry, NC. Stay straight on NC 194 when it intersects with US 19-E. The campus will be on your right at the Newland city limits just past the golf course.

Take NC 226 and follow it to Spruce Pine, where it intersects with US 19-E. Turn left onto US 19-E, going through Burnsville to the red light at the intersection for Mountain Heritage High School (red light). Turn right at the light onto Wheeler Hills Road, then take the first left for the Yancey Learning Center.
From Asheville, NC
Take I-26 west to the Burnsville/Spruce Pine exit (US 19/US 19-E). Follow US 19/19-E to the red light at Mountain Heritage High School. At the light, turn left onto Wheeler Hills Road, then take the first left for the Yancey Learning Center.

Take I-26 east to the Burnsville/Spruce Pine exit (US 19/US 19-E). Follow US 19/19-E to the red light at Mountain Heritage High School. At the light, turn left onto Wheeler Hills Road, then take the first left for the Yancey Learning Center.
