Anyone interested in a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Criminal Justice or Nursing needs to talk with Ginger McKinney, the Lees-McRae College coordinator for Extended Campus Programs on the Mayland Community College campus. Lees-McRae and Mayland have created a partnership that provides the opportunity for students to earn a 4-yr degree in two additional years once an AAor AAS degree has been completed. Lees-McRae provides the instructors, courses, and supervision. Mayland provides the classrooms, resources, and technical assistance. The overall tuition costs and driving time are reduced. The focus on the successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree is increased.
Ginger McKinney will help determine what you need to begin this new endeavor - transcripts, financial aid, and previous course credit. Call 765-7351 ext 417 (cell 385-0065) to make an appointment OR come to Room 116 Health Sciences building (Wednesdays 9:00-3:00 or Thursdays 9:00-12:00) to discuss the possibilities.
Lees-McRae and Mayland are working together and looking forward for future
educational opportunities for all students! Come be a partner!
